For educational purposes we offer a description how to build an ISO9141-2 compatible diagnostic interface for your own. This interface can be used with free OBD diagnostic software e.g. VCDS-Lite (Ross-Tech, for Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW), FreeSSM (Subaru) or independent vehicle heaters from Webasto or Eberspächer.
Schools or other educational institutions can receive PCBs or other special parts on request from us.
You can download the CD for the diagnostic kit (german) here. The CD contains everything to build an USB car diagnostic cable for K-line in your classroom or practical course. The neccessary amount of time is less than 2 hours (beginners).
